General Information for Roof Replacement  

This page is intended to give you a better understanding of our replacement procedures; you will also receive a similar letter once your project is scheduled. The letter will include the date range for when installation will begin.

• For most roof replacements, materials are delivered directly to your home before the start of your project. We will call to notify you prior to the material/dumpster delivery; please have your driveway clear as we need access to your home and roof.  The materials will be loaded directly to your roof top unless conditions do not permit a direct load (steepness, power lines, shake roof, etc.)

• Materials that cannot be rooftop loaded will be placed in your driveway as close to the house as possible. If your residence has limited space or if you have limited parking; please call to discuss placement of the dumpster and materials.

• North Creek Roofing, Inc. will make every effort to complete the installation of your new roof in a timely manner. Please keep in mind that poor weather conditions will shift our schedule and may delay the start of your project. When installing your new roof we will make the necessary arrangements to ensure your home is watertight for the evenings and weekends.

• We will need access to electricity for our equipment. If there are no exterior outlets on your property, please inform us as soon as possible so we can make other arrangements.

• Roof Attachments: If it becomes necessary to remove roof attachments (e.g. satellite dish, antennas, heating or cooling devices, etc.) North Creek Roofing, Inc. will use best practices and care but cannot be responsible for performance; you will need to call your local provider for this service.

• Attic and Garage Space: It is common for a small amount of debris to get inside the attic and garage; please cover all stored items to protect them.

• If you have skylights it may be necessary to remove them to properly flash them; this could cause debris to fall into the house, please cover the area under the skylight to collect debris and dust.

• Normal roofing installation will have some noise and causes vibration to the structure; please be sure to walk through the house and secure or remove any fragile objects from the walls..
